inVited is a small exhibition feature welcoming guest artists, both local and international, into our space! Artists get a focus on up to three works of art, which will be available for both viewing and purchase at inPrint studio. Can't make it to the studio? Take a peek below for a digital version, and get to know a little bit about the artist's practice. Works will be available for sale through our Etsy during exhibition runs.

For our first inVited feature, we welcome Michail Falkonis! His interest in printmaking stems from the directness of the medium. On view at the studio from November 5th 2021 to January 14th, 2022. See his work below:

Artist Bio

Michail Falkonis was born in Greece and studied painting and printmaking at the Athens School of Fine Arts. He attended the Department of Printmaking at the Royal College of Art in London (1990), and participated in the “Safer Printmaking” workshop at the Royal University of Fine Arts in Stockholm (1998). He has had a number of solo and group exhibitions in Greece and in Germany, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Mexico and Japan. His works can be found in private collections, municipal art galleries and museums. He won an award in 1997, for his artwork on the poem "Aposicha Mystika" by O. Elytis. This was presented by the House of Letters and Arts in their Engraving Competition. He currently lives and works in Heraklion, Crete in Greece.
