Tea and coffee on site. Children and youth courses noted in description. All materials provided unless otherwise noted. Origami Workshop

Sunday, November 24th, 2019
with guest artist Sharon Kawabata

inPrint loves everything to do with paper, and we are so excited to invite guest instructor Sharon Kawabata into the studio to show us how to fold! Learn some basic origami folding tips using a variety of beautiful paper. We'll make some items to use as gifts, ornaments, decorations or desk accessories--just in time to make great holiday gifts! In two hours, a  variety of take home items will be made with all materials provided. Perfect for beginners just interested in origami techniques, artists interested in taking their paper practices into new directions or anyone just looking to get creative with their hands! Suitable for teens and adults!

Intro to Relief Printmaking (2 Day Workshop)

Wednesday January 22nd and Wednesday January 29th 2020

Learn the basics of relief printmaking! Relief printmaking is a tactile, highly rewarding art form. Day one will cover an introduction to relief print materials, how to draw a design that can be translated to a carving block, and how to carve a linoleum block. Day two will cover how to print your carved linoleum block, and how to create an edition of relief prints. Materials are provided with fee.

Intro to Silkscreen (2 Day Workshop)

Tuesday, February 4th, and Tuesday, February 11th, 2020

Learn the basics to screenprinting! In this two day course, we'll cover how to build your own wooden silkscreen, drawing for screen, and using photo-emulsion exposures to create a dynamic graphic series of images. Day one will cover making your own screen which you can take home, as well as image generation. Day two will cover registration techniques, printing and editioning. Our experienced printmakers will guide you through materials, and the possibilities you can reach using this incredibly effective print method. Materials and paper are provided, though participants are encouraged to bring their own textiles for printing.

Stamp Printing Basics

Learn how to create your own signature stamp at the InPrint Studio! Stamps can be used for personalized stationary, greeting cards, and so much more! During this workshop you will learn how to design, transfer, and carve your own rubber stamp. Once you acquire these skills you will be able to create a variety of personal stamps…the artistic applications are endless!

Galentine’s Day Tote Bags

Silkscreen Printing Level 2 (2 day workshop)

Tuesday, March 3rd, and Tuesday March 10th 2020

6pm to 9pm

$130 plus tax

Take your silkscreen printmaking skills to the next level! During this two day course you will learn more advanced silkscreen methods. Day one will cover how to create a more complex, multi-layered image as preparation to print, how to expose these layers, and print layer one. Day two will cover advanced registration methods, printing layers two and three, and how to mix inks to control transparency and how to layer transparent colours to build rich layers. Become a silkscreen expert at the InPrint Studio! Supplies provided.
