Valentine Card-Making (Relief Print)

Saturday February 5th, 2022

1 to 4pm 

with artist Shannon Moynagh

Create your own unique Valentines at the inPrint Studio! During this workshop you learn how to carve a basic stamp, then use your creation to stamp print an edition of 10 cards. We will also have pre-carved stamps on-site so you can combine and create dynamic images. A fun activity for beginners, couples, and families. All materials provided with class fee.

Intro to Silkscreen (One-Day Intensive)

Sunday, February 27th, 2022

11am to 4pm 

with artist Maureen Da Silva
$75 plus tax


Interested in screen but intimidated by the process? In this workshop, you'll receive an intensive introduction to emulsion-based silkscreen and demystify the practice so you can do it at home. Learn what you need to know about the basic set-up and supplies, coating and exposing screens, as well as pulling a basic one-layer print. All supplies, including screens to use in class are provided. Students can bring their own drawings ready to expose, or use provided templates to just get the hang of the process. Perfect for beginners or printmakers who need a refresher. Suitable for older teens and adults.

Silkscreen Monoprint

Sunday March 27th, 2022, 11am to 2pm

Silkscreen monoprint is a beautiful form of print media utilizing watercolour materials and screen frames. With no need to expose a screen, this style of one-off printmaking is safe and accessible to do in any home studio. In this workshop, you’ll be given the knowledge of necessary tools to use, and a range of options to make images. Create beautiful wash affects, collect frottage textures, and play with ghosts to your heart’s content in this workshop. Suitable for older teens and adults. Supplies included in the cost of the workshop.

Tea & Print- Silkscreen a Tote

Saturday, March 12, 2022

with artist Shannon Moynagh

$60 plus tax

If you enjoy sipping tea and making art, this workshop is for you! During a casual art-making afternoon at the studio, participants will print their own canvas tote bag using a variety of silkscreen stencils. We will also offer a variety of tasty herbal teas to warm you up. Register with a friend, or make new ones! All materials provided with fee.


Participants will be provided with face shields to use (and take home!) so they can enjoy their tea.

Sessions available for artists interested in working in screen print or who want private instruction on relief, cyanotype, or introductory bookbinding processes.

Studio Sessions (Daily Rental Rate), $35

  • This is non-instructional time, but a member of the collective is in the studio to monitor the space

  • This is a five hour long period to work on your project

  • includes a brief orientation if new to the space, access to presses, screen tables, light tables, wash out sink, squeegees, rags, acetate for screen registration

  • Does not include use of screens, emulsions, studio paper (including positives) or ink 

  • Open to past workshop students or residents, or can demonstrate strong familiarity with the process

  • Great for folks looking to book only one or two days to work in the studio

  • Storage not included (you must leave with all your supplies that you bring)

Availability of sessions: by appointment only

Instructional Mentorship/Artist Support, $30/hour

  • Hours required to be determined upon booking

  • Can be used for intensive lessons/print mentorship OR for support in printing a project. 

  • If booked for artistic support, artist must be active and lead the needs of the project. InPrint member is there to help and to offer technical assistance but the artist will be expected to participate and guide in the goals of the printing session

  • Does not include use of screens, emulsions, studio inks and paper (including for positives)

  • Artist must provide own paper or textiles for project

Availability: by appointment only


$5 for emulsion/vellum use (up to 5 uses of each). 50 cents for extra usages per need.
$3 for day-of, in studio screen rentals. 
$20 for total package use of screens (up to 2), ink (edition and colour limits may apply), emulsion and vellum for positives.
