This is non-instructional time where you can come into the studio and use the space alongside our community to just get some printing done. Want to expose a bunch of screens to print later? Play around with some cyanotypes indoors? Or use our table-top etching press on an already carved block or etched plate? Maybe you just want to think ideas through alongside other artists.

Come on down and make some art!

Folks must provide their own supplies including ink, blocks and paper but can use our equipment including presses, screen tables and squeegees, exposure unit as well as access to emulsion (Speedball) with a limit to 2 screens per person. Folks are welcome to come in any time through-out the day, and note that the rate is a flat fee regardless of how many hours are used.

Screen Rental is $5 for use for the session.

Typcial screen sizes are 20"x24" or smaller. Our table top etching press is a recommended max 9"x12" image size. We have a larger proofing press, but are in the process of testing it out still for relief print!

Students will have the opportunity to learn about an alternative and non-toxic lithography printing technique in this workshop. Replacing the traditional stone with a thin, clay-coated plastic sheet, students can replicate lithography style printing without the need for acids or solvents. You can create prints using a photograph as well as drawing with oily materials.

This weekend course gives the time and space to deep dive into pronto plates. Class size will be limited to four students so that everyone gets the press time they need. We will be activating both our table top press and litho press.

Students can bring in an image to print on a plate as well as experiment with direct drawing to create unique lithography prints. You will learn to prepare your plate for print by using water and ink before printing your image using our printing presses. This method can be a bit fickle but fun, so inPrint is here to help!

No experience needed, all materials included in the cost of the class.
